Your Trellis Garden by Jack Kramer
Published in 1976 by Walker and Company of New York
Publisher's price at that time $7.95

This older black and white (no color photos) book is not exactly what I had in mind when I went to the library looking for designs and instructions for building a garden trellis. However, it does offer useful information about trellis structures and trellis plants. The trellis projects ranged from wires nailed to posts in various designs, to elaborate pergolas to cover a porch or patio. If I had found this book at a yard sale for a buck or two, I would definitely have bought it and put it on my bookshelf. As it is, I copied the pages showing graphic instructions for tying up and pruning raspberries, blackberries and grapes. The espaliered fruit chapter also looked very interesting.
