Looking for books about unusual gardens

I have a book called "Eccentric gardens" by Jane Owen and Eric Crichton (1990)
Great book, featuring a number of gardens with unusual themes.
I'm looking for more such books.
Does anyone have a recommendation?

I searched Amazon for used books on Bomarzo, and found them pricey and lacking even cover pictures.
Any recommendation on a good picture book on Bomarzo?
I don't mind paying for it if a preview looks promising.
Any language is fine. Any culture.

There is another wild sculpture garden near Rome, that I can't remember the name of. Need a book.

Anything with a mythic, philosophical or "funny" theme (not Disney), showing plant selection
and rock formations incorporating statuary or ornaments.

Grateful for any recommedations

Hello, Linnea!

You MUST read the Beverley Nichols books. You probably can get them in your library. Dry British humor. I really enjoyed his books, Down the Garden Path, Sunlight on the Lawn, Merry Hall, Laughter on the Stairs, and more.
Check out the website for his reprinted books.

Cheers!
