| I have a book called "Eccentric gardens" by Jane Owen and Eric Crichton (1990)
Great book, featuring a number of gardens with unusual themes. I'm looking for more such books. Does anyone have a recommendation? I searched Amazon for used books on Bomarzo, and found them pricey and lacking even cover pictures.
There is another wild sculpture garden near Rome, that I can't remember the name of. Need a book. Anything with a mythic, philosophical or "funny" theme (not Disney), showing plant selection
Grateful for any recommedations

| Hello, Linnea! You MUST read the Beverley Nichols books. You probably can get them in your library. Dry British humor. I really enjoyed his books, Down the Garden Path, Sunlight on the Lawn, Merry Hall, Laughter on the Stairs, and more. Cheers! |
