Hi all, just read a great book on green gardening and thought I'd pass the news along. It's by a guy named Joe Lamp'l. I saw him on the Today show and decided to check it out. The book is called "The green Gardener's Guide". It is full of tons of practical tips on how to garden in a more environmentally responsible matter. Each tip is a page or two and after reading it I've taken a number to heart in my own garden. I really liked the organization, in that if it was something I already knew about it was very easy to flip the page to the next idea. Lamp'l has a website www.joegardener.com and a blog that is linked off of there- he really seems to preach the eco-gardening message pretty strongly. If you're looking for a good green gardening book this one sure was fun and helpful for me (and if you're looking for a more general guide I just ordered his other book, "over the fence with Joe gardener"-I'll let you know how it stacks up once it arrives.)
