Secrets of Plant Propagation by Lewis Hill
Published by Storey Communications, Inc.

Not just another gardening book, this incredibly well written, well illustrated, clear, concise, comprehensive book covers every conceivable method of plant propagation and just about every species in which you are likely to be interested.

And it's not just a dry collection of facts. The author describes his personal experiences with each method, so you can be sure he's not just passing on vague or questionable book knowledge. He gives all the important details you need to confidently proceed with your own propagations.

It's amazing how much information is packed into less than 170 pages. For many techniques, several alternatives or variations presented, yet there is no padding or redundancy. Both easy and advanced methods are included. Some require specialized equipment, construction of which is shown, some do not. Methods suitable for commercial production are presented as well as methods suitable for the home gardener.

It's easy to understand why the American Horticultural Society rates this garden book one of America's 75 best.
