know of a great 'weed' book?????

Looking for a really good book with lots of color pics for weed indentification and info. Do you know of one I can invest in? There is one called 'Weeds of the Northern US & Canada I'm thinking about. Just wondering about any others???

I just visited 1/2 price books website and saw a book offered on "weeds". sorry I can't remember the exact name. I ordered a book on "propagagtion".

Hi! I recently got a used book on Ebay called "common weeds of the united states" Prepared by the agricultural research service of the United States Department of Agriculture. No color pictures, just drawings and text but it seems to me to be quite informative. It is also offered new by the Dover Books company. Hope I was helpful.

I've found "Weeds of the West" to be one of the best references for identifying natives (and other people's natives.) The book has clear color pictures, and though it focuses on "weeds" that interfere with farming and grazing, some of them are our favorite garden plants.

A little spendy, but I've really used mine a lot.
