anyone know of a book with ornamental grasses?

I have a friend that adores ornamental grasses, and would love to surprise her with a book showing some of the cultivars available. Would someone know of such a thing?

How about "The Encyclopedia of Ornamental Grasses", by John Greenlee.

For more up-to-date cultivars, you might consider The Color Encyclopedia of Ornamental Grasses by Rick Darke or Grasses: Versatile Partners for Uncommon Garden Design by Nancy Ondra.

Especially since you are zone 4, I have just the book. Written by the current president of the Ornamental Grass Society here in Minnesota, it is a small spiral bound book that has zone 4 hardy ornamentals. Sells for $9.99 if I remember correctly. The author, Erin Hynes, is a garden writer by profession. Just published 2004, can't remember the exact title. I will send you an email with her email address and you can contact her directly.
