Using Helium to Kill Kudzu

I would be interested to hear other's opinions about this story. Or, if you find scientific coverage of the story/phenomenon, I'd be interested in reading that. I did a quick Google search, but didn't turn up much of interest.

Recently, ''the sky is falling'' crowd needed something to scream about and headlines said we are dangerously short of Helium. It is easier to understand the helium shortage than to understand some of the many things we are warned about. Just a thought. .

Garden professors did mention cost, if I recall the article correctly.

Albert, I don't understand your first paragraph or know how it's related. I read it three times...maybe I'm missing something.

But yes, I do understand that the average homeowner is probably not going to be using this method in the next little bit. I'm more interested in understanding the science involved than the practicality of the process (at least at this point). I'm not planning on going into the Kudzu extermination business anytime soon (-:
