I am doing research on the policy impact of conservationists whose primary employment was in higher education. Sears is one example, and I am casting my net broadly to see what connections I can uncover. He taught in botany departments at the Ohio State University, the Universities of Nebraska and Oklahoma, and Oberlin College. He also chaired the Conservation Program at Yale in the 1950s.
