| Hello, everybody!
I have a question that in botany, is there a difference between the term "ray" and "ray flower".? Do they refer to the same part of a flower? Or in fact, they are totally different terms? Thanks in advance!! Nice day!

| Yes. This was answered in a thread not long ago. Search it at the top of this page. |

| Actually, I think you are mistaken Petzold, I believe the discussion was the difference between a "ray flower" (or flower ray) and a "petal". The term ray can have many many meanings. Impsx-gw, if you can give me the context for the word ray that you are concerned about, I'll see what I can do to answer your question. |
