 o
Alcea species

I am not sure where to ask this question but hope people here can answer it. Do Alcea rugosa, Alcea pallida, and/or Alcea rosea cross pollinate? I want to grow all three and collect seeds from all three. I have looked on the net and not found anything about this.

I've read that Alcea ficifolia, Fig-leaved Hollyhock, is a natural cross between Alcea rosea and Alcea rugosa, so I would err on the side of caution. If you plant them together tho, you might get some neat hybrids.

Thanks!
