Identifying New Plant

This is our first spring in our new home and we keep finding new things popping up! I had cleaned out what was once a garden bed and planted a few bushes and flowers. I just noticed this popping up between some of what I had planted. Does anyone know what it is?

Appears to be a violet. For future reference the Name That Plant forum is usually better for this kind of thing.
