Has Anyone Used This for Salt Buildup?

Calatheas are notoriously susceptible to salt buildup, and mine are suffering. I use the same water I use for everything else, and the calatheas are the only plants that show salt buildup on the soil.

Just saw a product that looks useful for this, Clearex Salt Leaching Solution from rosemania.com.

Has anyone tried this? Sounds as though it might help container grown plants that don't show obvious signs of suffering yet from salt builup.

I might suggest that you post this in the Houseplants forum or Garden Clinic Forum if you don't get some good answers here.

I'll suggest that you make sure you are watering correctly, since soluble salt build up is largely preventable. Flooding with bottled water could be helpful, too. If you aren't able to leach the soil system out each time you water (or at least frequently), then nothing can help a very sensitive plant. The product you mention won't work unless you can leach the soil when you use it.
