Unknown understory tree

I apologize for posting this on a professional site but I'm desperate to know what tree this is. I'm getting no answers anywhere else.
Might you take a look at this and let me know what this is please?

Looks like blackgum (Nyssa sylvatica), assuming you're in the eastern US.
