Waterloupe or Cantamelon????

Hello,
I have a strange melon growing in my garden. Looks like a watermelon, but when you cut it open it is a cantaloupe. It is delicious. Have you ever heard of such a melon? I have been on the web searching for a answer. I have read that a watermelon cannot cross pollinate with a cantaloupe. It seems like that is exactly what I have. Any info would be greatly appreciated. There was not place for me to post pictures. I do have some if you want me to email them to you.
Thank You, Jill

I couldn't make sense of that comment, either. And I feel sorry for people who have no shift key or punctuation keys on their keyboard.
