Pink tinted Sunflowers

I have some sunflowers that has a pink tint, we had a couple of frost.would they still be good or should I compost them.

I would inquire at Annuals Forum, That forum is sporadically unresponsive but often quite good.

are you talking about the seeds? i've found that mine have the pinkish tint to them as the seeds mature(dry) after the "flower stuff" falls off, that is if the furry tailed rats (squirrels) and birds don't get them first.
