 o
sap ph and chemical composition - plant roots reaction to radioac

Posted by salesman italy (My Page) on

I am very curious to know which plants carry the acidmost sap. And, for those that will be named, the lowest ph and chemical composition, including WHICH acid causes the ph to stay low.
I am also interested to know if any reaction was ever registered on the part of any plant roots versus the presence of radiations (radioactivity) in the soil. What kind of reaction, I mean.
Will be grateful to anybody who could enlighten me on these topics.
Thanks.

I don't know much about this but think that it is a very interesting question that should have been studied at some point. I think I'll go reasearch it now... :)

RE: Maybe a clue

Anthocyanins respond to changes in sap acidity, that's all I have...
