Could someone please help ( I need to interview a botanist )

Hello ,

I need to conduct an interview with a botanist (or other biology related job) and write a report about it.
If someone could please answer a few questions , I would very much appreciate it :)

Here are the questions:

1. Could you briefly describe your job responsibilities?
2. What is your educational and employment background?
3. What made you consider this field of biological science?
4. What type of research or projects are you currently involved in?
5. Which scientific skills do you value the most in your current field?
6. How do you see your field changing within the next 5 years?
7. How does botany relate to other biology related sciences and jobs?
8. What impact on the environment / medical advancements does your field have?
9. What makes your field an important field of study?

Thanks for any help! Even if you just answer one question it would be great! :)

My response might not be what you wanted, but I would like to point out that today's botanist must have a solid background in biochemistry and genetics, plant physiology, taxonomy, morphology, and several other subjects. Also, there is a BIG difference between botany and horticulture. I advise consulting a dictionary. Botanical studies have greatly enriched my life;I believe it will enrich yours.
I wish you luck!

One botanist I met comes to mind. But maybe your deadline is over.

The person is in north California.
