This is the story, I recieved a large boquet of flowers for my birthday the flowers had these weaving branches. When the flowers died I kept the branches and put them in water, the branches spouted routs and began to grow, I am interested in what kind of plant it is and how can I keep it growing. So far i have just kept it in water and it is showing tremendous progress.

thanks for your help
And watch out where you plant any willow , if outdoors eventually ....they will find the water lines for sure so best to place them far, far away from those. It's not coincidental that people use willow branches to dowse with!
This is an ornamental willow and in zone 3 where I am it does not get very tall, only about 15 ft. It is prized for it's contorted branches which are useful in floral arrangements. I'm not sure how long they will survive in just water but one year I started some during the Winter and then planted them in large pots and kept them until Spring when I set them outside. HAVE FUN WITH THEM !
