| Large green leaved plant with no inflorescence for 4-5 years. Some pups but no flower. Now all of a sudden it has decided to do its thing!! |

| At first I thought your plant was a Guzmania,? though not sure as it could be a large plant like an Alcantarea geniculata? How tall is your flower stem & how wide is the foliage ie 3feet ? if so then it may be an alcantarea though not sure from the small image? cheers allan |
