Hello, I am a new member to this forum and I look forward to photos and the knowledge I can obtain here.

Can someone Please ID this Bromeliad for me.??
The flower spike has been happening for 2 months now and still is not finished opening.

Thanks, John

I think that is an Alcantarea odorata.

I don't feel that the bracts are long enough to be Odorata,
if it has white petals it is more likely Alc. Glaziouana,
yellow petals then it is Alc. Odorata
