healthy but chilly broms..

The Fosters favorite is in bloom. wow, because when I bought it from an Orchid dealer years ago it really struggled to adapt to cool temps and lower humidity. Then when it did-it's done great.First year it's bloomed in winter.Actually took about three years just to become large enough to bloom. So,this clump must be about 5 years old.

The A.orlandiana has done well for not being in a sunnier spot-thats slowed its growth, unless it's a slow grower. Going into its third sumer with me. Tossed in a unknown Dendrobium orchid in bloom on Jan 1st. Hard to beleive. If you know what it's name is I would appreciate it. Even looks good out of bloom with those varnished, plump, segmented stems.
