I watched a Bizarre foods episode in the Mexican jungles. They tore what looked like a Aechmea off a tree,ripped the outer leaves off..and ate the white stalk. The guide said " tree celery",but good old Andrew thought more "Like Artichoke". So now ya know.

It was a 2010 episode. So,there could have been a post then about it. First time with me-best I can recall that is.
Hey Gonzer,you might have winced...a mint condition large Brom,taken from us. Andrew is such a savage.
