Epiphytic cacti and bromeliads

Do any epiphytic cacti do well when actually grown epiphytically in the home? I haven't been able to turn up any accounts of people growing them in this way.

I am deciding what to plant on a 4' piece of driftwood; it will definitely include some vase-type broms and ferns, but I'd like a cactus or two as well- maybe a Rhipsalis or Lepismium species.

As long as the light and air movement are good enough they should do fine (but I would probably mount them in some kind of moss or some substrate for their roots). The light would probably be the biggest worry for me. And attaching the bromeliads might be best just to mount with a fastener (shade cloth, wire, etc) and cover with something to make it look better. I can imagine getting the plants to anchor themselves might be tough.
