My thoughts exactly, Andy. Reminds me of some of those uninformed and/or unscrupulous sellers who glue Tillies into seashells with no drainage, or mount Cryptanthus on driftwood for quick sales to unwary customers. This type of environment seems best suited to one of Chanin's plastic frogs.

So would you buy this because you like lightglobes ,or the fact its got " novelty " appeal , or you are into plants that are fated to die ,one thing is for sure ,you are not paying for the little Tillandsia ,or into growing them , you are just buying a "novelty " aka junk ,just as well you can't hear a plant scream ,

Well I certainly agree that it's different, although in my opinion it's just an excuse to make an easy buck by marketing a shoddy novelty.

As I see it, it comes under the same category as people who confine animals in small cages for their whole life; cruel!

I used to show an artificail braided Sansevieria pic, that we do export to EU pot plant market,
