I thought T. monadelpha had grey leaves, gonzer. I have something that looks a lot like this, tagged T. narthecoides, but according to the database that species is native to Ecuador, so maybe not.
I'm in total agreement with you Lisa. The striations on the leaves are reminiscent of T. lindenii which has a paddle inflo. Kiff's book lists monadelpha as the only species with alternate flowers that is native to Panama. If Patusho doesn't mind I'd like to send the photo to Derek for his take.
