Well that's what Derek calls it! Such a weedy thing but the flowers are something else.

I see Derek's got a "Pommie job" and "Yankee job" on the photo index too.

Are you saying that clone blooms all year round, HDD? My nutans v. minima gives a big flush right around Christmas and then it doesn't do anything the rest of the year.

Gonzer - plant is nice, but those macro images are just stunning.

So easy to overlook beauty like that when it is tucked away, but when you bring it to life for everyone with images like that ... thanks.

Aw Gonz, you spilt a little bit of pollen on the petals.
    Great close-up work.
Look out Chanin, Gonz is coming.
    All the best, Nev.

Actually Lisa it was a blue Sharpie that I used. Harder 'n heck to keep the blue inside the lines!

    Beautiful photography Gonzer!

But looking at the picture, does that mean I also have an 'Aussie Job' or am I not sharp enough to spot the difference between AJ and the normal nutans? I always thought I had the straight forward nutans. And mine definitely flowers just in WInter!

Japie, read the Uncle Derek article for an explanation. Apparently what I have is the Yankee job. I didn't realize that nutans v. minima was not a valid classification. They all have blue-edged petals, but I don't think mine are quite as blue as Gonzer's.

Here is a link that might be useful: Uncle Derek says: Bill. nutans

Japie, also your plant's leaves (from the photo) seem to be somewhat "normal" size while Aussie Job has very thin, almost grassy leaves.

Thanks Gonzer, the article didn't help me too much, but hearing that the Aussie Job has the 'grassy' leaves confirms that that is what I have. Although I was a little confused by the article, do only some variety/clones set seed and some don't?
