Bryan, yours look great, while mine that I got from Tropiflora is gonna bloom too The plant has formed its inflorescenece from the middle, yes that's strange HDD! Dyckia should not bloom from the plant's apical, so do you guys think that 'Chocolate' could be a bigeneric hybrid, may be with Deuterocohnia or Encholirium which bloom from the apical. Here my plant tip.

Turtlewalker, few years ago one of my xDyckcohnia 'Conrad Morton' did shoot twin flower stalk too.
No way to know the Chocolate parents, And down the street is a huge stand of Deuterocohnia that bloom from the same scape year after year. Its unsightly because it so thick they cant weed the bed. If I get a spiney in bloom I will go swipe some pollen
Bryan, you remind me of a cute Dyckia 'Angelita' which also apically blooms. Strangely, on a tag which came from Tropiflora appear "xDycklirium Angelita" !
But from 'Angelita' 's flower feature, I think it could be a cross between Dyckia x Deuterocohnia instead of Encholirium which usually lack of tube-like petals(^_*)
