A few weeks back I did a few Quesnelia testudo bigeneric crosses just to see what happens even though I think that this one selfs. I'm thinking that Q might be similar to Billbergia in time to seed. The inflorescence is dead and ugly so I'm going to stick the plant out of sight. I'm hoping for an 8 week gestation period but won't be surprised if it's longer. Anyone know the details?
