Didn't somebody else post a picture a while back of another Neo that was doing the same thing? The occasional double inflorescence is actually fairly common in Neos, but usually it will be one main cluster with one or two smaller ones tucked in the side. They are usually so close together that it can be difficult to see where one stops and the other starts, and most people wouldn't even notice it. If you are observing the blooming pattern, however, you will notice that the usual progression from outer ring to inner ring has been disrupted because there is actually more than one ring. It is much less common to see two distinct normal-sized inflorescences side-by-side and clearly separated like this.

I'm not sure if certain cvs. are more prone to multiples than others. If so, I haven't really noticed, since I've seen it in so many different ones. It's not a stable trait, though.

This is Neo. Flamethrower, and it is definitely not its usual pattern of blooming.

I've never had this kind of clear double on any of my Neos before. As I said, it is fairly common to get a smaller cluster tucked into the side of a larger one, but this is two completely separate inflorescences with leaves surrounding them. Kind of like an egg with two yolks!
