Last year I did cross some Orthophytums and sowed their seeds in seed boxes.

Most of them seem to be normal or unattractive seedlings ;^P

Unexpectedly, months ago I found an unknown parentage of a tiny Ortho.'s seedling

which germinated lonelily in a Dyckia marnier-lapostollei's container.

Actually, I thought it was an Ortho. saxicola's seedling which also set many seed pods,

so I did overlook it untill I noticed its bigger size and a few striation on the leaves.

Then, I did pot it up. I think it could be an F2 of Ortho. 'Starlights'

Last month I did repot it to a bigger container and gave more sun,

the variegations seem to get better and better.

I think a 'Superstar' was born (^_*)

I do hope the plant will give pups which get better and various variegation.
