Looks like a species of Pandanus.

With what appears to be a bloom spike...some kinda of spiney bromeliad?

actually...now that you mention the bloom spike, I did not see it before but now I can see one close one out of focus with white flowers? and a new one also coming out of the centre?

Could it be some kind of lily?
and possibly not a brom at all?

Its hard to tell with that photo being a little bit small
maybe if we could have some other shots of the plant in different angles someone might be able to get the right ID easier?

I didn't even see the flower spike! The flowers are reminiscent of a Spider Plant (Chlorophytum)... but with toothed leaf margins?

My first thought was Chlorophytum too. It's hard to see the flowers from that angle, and hard to tell if it really has spiny edges or if that's just an artifact of the photo itself. A better picture would help, but if it is a bromeliad, it might be a Fosterella. Not sure which one, though.
