ID me please & What's it doing?

I have had this bromelaid for nearly a year. It wasn't getting a lot of light until about three weeks ago (we live in a new home now). As you can see, it's turning red. Is it going into bloom or is it just going to be that way? I am so excited about it!!!

Also...what is it? Anyone?

It's a Cryptanthus (Earth Star) and seems to be getting used to it's new home. The coloration is a sign that it likes the higher light content, it's not a sign of impending flowering. Now, calm down! ;-)
