As I was downloading and renaming pictures from my camera, I came accross this picture. The thought accourred to me to get you all to put your thinking caps on and tell me what you think this is!

A hint : it is not something that I used to have in my collection and when I got some plants from Dennis recently, he thought it wise to send it to me to make my collection more 'complete'! So, Dennis, you're not allowed to answer!

Hi Japie,

I'll take advantage of being awake and up early, while our northern hemisphere brom friends are still sleeping, and it's still yesterday for them!

My guess of your mystery plant, oh grand quiz master, is - Orthophytum gurkenii....??

I agree with Kerry, but that was too easy, Japie! Next time try cropping down to about one tenth of that pic. ;-)

Hi all

Ja Japie, too easy for these guys by the looks! However, once you have seen that plant its very distinctive and is easily spotted! Nice pic BTW...
