Hey guys, thought you might enjoy another cool hechtia (ok, I know there have been a lot of hechtia posts lately...but this one is really cool!).
They were sharing a cliff face with with some cool draping agaves, cacti, and neat stretched form of ionantha.

Pretty cool looking plant, huh? There was another colony in the general area that was green instead of the purple/red color.

Anyone have any idea what species it could be? None of the botanical descriptions I can find describe this draping habit with the curled leaves. They are pretty big plants.
