Hechtia lundelliorum

This is a huge, great soft-leaved hechtia. The plants cascade down the cliffs. Some colonies were down ~2000' in elevation, some colonies were up around 6000'. They were huge too. Some seemed to be hanging with 4-5' long leaves! Presents a problem for presentation in upright pots!

And they grow downward! Some seems to be due to the erosion and the dirt pushing them down...but certainly seems like a natural habit as well.
