Anyone growing this Aechmea?

This is another Aechmea that I've had for probably close to 20 years now, and also originally received from the plant raffle table of the SF Bromeliad Society. In looking through the Baensch book and also the FCBS photos, it most closely resembles what Baensch was calling Aechmea 'Turtle Shell'. I suspect it has some A. cylindrata perhaps crossed with A. gamosepala, anyone have this? What are your thoughts? I can say that it is a prolific grower and pupper, and forms large colonies quickly, and the foliage will tint purplish black if grown in direct sun, but it burns rather easily.

Here is a link that might be useful: Aechmea 'Turtle Shell'?
