One of my favorite Tillandsia species also, as it is so easy to grow here in the San Francisco Bay Area, virtually growing and blooming without any attention on my part besides the occasional wetting down. I have several that are almost done extending those 3 to 4 foot long bloom spikes, and may see flowers any day now. The pups along the flowering stem are certainly part of the attraction, and they can build up big clumps in just a few years time here.

Hd, you should of said something. It grows like a weed in the garden.

No worries Gonz...I only have one left on my Tilly list and the only reason I haven't bought it is the of the lack info and good pictures. I'm not sure it will grow here. No one in the club grows it but that doesn't mean i can't since there is a very big lack of collectors here. It's T.secunda

I was told the plant in this pic is Til. Secunda,can you confirm it?

If it is in fact Til. secunda, it's a pity you don't live over here as it grows like a weed and drops pups everywhere. This one was growing on an old cactus at the front of a garden belonging to a Brom Society member, and as you can see it's covered in pups.

It resembles pictures I have seen of the plant its self ..but never close ups....only the bloom spike pic's are available I will know soon as I now have a plant coming :)

Nev's plant is T. secunda. There're only a few Tills that are viviparous by nature. Somnians is one, secunda, propagulifera, and a form of baileyi. I've got (supposedly) a plant of secunda but it's too darn slow to confirm. If you need the baileyi form let me know.
