Mine never had a time. I just checked them until I saw flowers fully open and the dew looking liquid on the flowers. 99% germinated

I always try at around 9:00am. That is usually the most fertile time.

So do I, between 9-11 am. but, it seem male pollens of some species are ready on late morning
sometimes at noon, though it's too late to do cross with the target female flower
which might be last or fertilized if uncontrol.

Wish the flowers on my plants wouldnt bloom during the work week. Why couldnt they pick weekends?!?!?!

Hi Chris, prserve the pollen grains you selected in freezer, then you could cross anytime.

Hey Chanin, while I do freeze pollen, at times my prospective seed parent isnt always receptive at the wee morning hrs before I have to go to work.

Hi Chris, you just cut off the petals and anthers to expose the stigma
then place the pollen grain on that stigma before you go to work.
The fertilization could be done itself.
