ID needed, Puya sp. ???

Anyone know what this bromeliad is? It was donated as Puya alpestris. It has started flowering and is definitely not that species. The individual flowers are very small and white, hard to photograph. This is growing in the Arid Garden here at Leu Gardens so it is in full sun and no irrigation.

Thanks,

Eric

Hi Eric, from your pic, I think we have kept the same plant, mine bloomed last summer.
I found out it's a brand-new species in genus Fosterella (^_^)
