Tillandsia Bartramii pics in the Wild

I recently checked the woods behind my property in Brevard County, and i'm glad i did. There are multiple types of Tillandsia flowering right now. After researching, I believe this type to be Bartramii (But Please let me know if it's misidentified). This colony was found on a trunk perfectly at eye level on the tree. This type I have never identified in this area, however I may have seen this very same colony several years ago, but in a time of year when it wasn't flowering and thought nothing of it.

I found this cluster of dead plants hanging from the bottom of the colony pictured above. They appear to be eaten by weevils

And this Bartramii specimen growing terrestrially 10 feet away from the tree colony. Although this is small and almost was stepped on, this is about full size for this variety
