Hi Bryan, that's so striking. I've seen at least 4 kinds of Hechtia that bloom here, H. glauca, H. rosea, which I used to post pics in this forum, and two unknown. They all seem to be dioecious, only male or female flower. If your has both sex, I think it should set seed.
This morning I found this unknown Hechtia blooming in my xeric garden.
