Hi bomg, Welcome to our forum. You've certainly come to the right place to get your Tillys identified, not by me but by our resident Tilly expert "Gonzer", who I'm sure will very quickly give you the answer. I don't know if you're aware of it or not, but we have two other members on our forum from the Phillipines as well, and they go by the names of; jopogi_gwapito and red.barrister. Now that you've joined us I hope you have a very enjoyable time learning more about brom's and that you take an active part in posting questions, answers and pictures. Do you have a mixed collection or do you just specialise in Tillys? Why not post some more pic's of your collection and tell us a bit about where you live so we can get to know you. All the best, Nev.

#1 looks like T. bergeri #2 looks like a hybrid, perhaps with T. exserta as a parent. #3 is T. balbisiana #4 may be T. edithae #5 is T chiapensis and #6 is T. shiedeana Hope this helps.

Hi Nev, Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm glad to hear that there are two other members of this forum from the Philippines. It would be nice to connect with them thru this forum. My collection is composed mostly of tillys and cryptanthus with a few neos and vriseas. I live in Manila and has only been recently interested with bromeliads especially tillys. Tillys are hard to come by here and I have travelled out of Manila a few times just to look for them :-)I will post more pictures soon. Hi gonzer and pinkbroms, Thanks so much for the help. I can now tag them :-) Bom

Hi all, Been busy getting my nursery in order and still a long way to go! I'll try to visit GW more often. I do like the Tillandsias, like Bomg and Gonzer! My thoughts: Gonzer's 'new arrivals', from another 'Aus' I'd say, are a stunning collection too. The Europeans have marvellous Tillandsia collections. Cheers, Pedro

I agree with you Pedro. #1 could even be a form of stricta but the semi-dessicated leaves tell me otherwise. Give me blooms!!! The only reason I neglected neglecta as a choice was the lack of leaves, yes, a side image should tell. Mmm...maybe a "What am I" thread using uncommon Tills, could be fun.

Till #2 looks a lot like what I have hanging in a ball. Actually I googled t. capitata rio hondo and I think thats what it is

Hi again Bom Looks a lot like edithae as already suggested. Blooms will tell! OK, Gonzer, I would join in with the Till thread. Cheers, Pedro
