Would some one be able to give me the parents involved in producing the Vriesea Pacific Ruby of Andrew Maloy's breeding.

Allan, the parents of the Pacific series are undeclared/unknown.

Hi Kerry and all,
Thank you Kerry, was just a hunch that some one might know the parents, Vriesea Pacific Ruby is a beautiful plant.

RE: Vriesea Pacific Beauty parents?

Hey Allan...yes the Pacific series is outstanding; almost as beautiful as the Tasman series, my fav - particularly Tasman Candyman & Tasman Tartan. Nah, they're all equally as beautiful.

RE: Vriesea Pacific Beauty parents?

Hi bromaholic, yep I agree they are all quite pretty plants, was hoping I could find the parents to see if this beauty, is of similar parentage to a cross I have done with Vriesea fosteriana rubra x (Vriesea platynema v variegata x hybrid?).

Looks as though will have to be patient and see if my seedlings look anything like Pacific Ruby. And yes all these hybrids are beautiful.
