Educational Exhibit and Sale

The San Diego Bromeliad Society will host an Educational Exhibit and Sale this Saturday, June 13th in Room 101, Casa del Prado, in Balboa Park (just west of the Natural History Museum). Doors open to the public at 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. There will be a drawing for a fabulous bromeliad. Stop by for a look!

All done and all fun. I bought an enormous Billbergia stenopetala, quite an imposing plant. Any San Diego area lurkers, consider joining the SD Bromeliad Society. It's a fun and friendly group, and you will learn a lot about your plants, and probably acquire way too many of them!

I second that it is a fun group, but heartily disagree about acquiring too many. There is always room for more! Ha ha.
