What do you think about it Billbergia? It's 'Fantasia'? Or something else.

    Hi gartemua

That's quite a collection you're getting together. It looks like the bromeliad bug has well and truly bitten you and you'll soon need to take over the other housing units where you live.

Sorry I can't help with the ID's. I think you'll need to wait until the Bill. gets larger or flowers and I don't know anything about the other one.

    All the best, Nev.

Thank you splinter. Yes, I would like more space. Ok, I'll wait for flowering, and then I'll ask.
    Thanks again.

    HI Gartemua

Must say ,your collection is steadely growing and the plants all look very healthy ,i should imagen that in your part of the world it must be a bit difficult to get hold of a lot of Bromeliads ,we are fairly blessed in Australia as a lot of nurseries simply are from very keen collectors that had very diverse collections and grew big enough to set up business ,with only a few that specialise in the flowering pot plant trade ,and there are a number of keen hybridisers as well ,and a few private importations all add to what is a very extensive variety that is available here ,but i admire your growing specially considering you do it all so high up in where you live ,good show my friend ,

Gartemua, I noticed you list a brown-flowered usneoides. By nature they are green and, very rarely, yellow. Do you have a photo?

    Jack, thank you.

Gonzer My has not yet bloomed. There are photos of plants from which I have separated a little bit:

She said that it was not wilted flower. That is only just begun to wilt. I look forward to when the mine will bloom, and make sure Brown whether it or not.

Gartemua, that looks like the remnant of a yellow bloom. They take on a light brown coloration when spent.
