I'm really starting to get a liking for Billbergias lately. Those flowers on Kahakai and Puna Pride don't look real - nearly look like they are made from that coloured ribbon you see one presents... all look great.

Im glad everyone enjoys! Its always exciting for me b/c that means I get to run to my freezer and see what pollen I can rub onto prospective parents. Rick, unfortunately I dont have a photo of El Zorro fully open. By the time it opened, I chopped off a lot of pollen and it looked rather ugly as far as pictures went. Guess I shouldve taken one beforehand... C

Chris, No worries, can you tell me how you freeze your pollen? I tried last year but froze the pollen with the stamen which didn't work that well, I know there are a few articles here on it but I'd love to know what you do. Cheers, Rick

Would have liked to have seen your Billbergia photos. Do you have them up anywhere else?
