What size and age did your plant have to reach before it flowered Bryan?

I came across an article in "Uncle Derek Says" when looking for info. on Bromelia Pinguin (address below) and thought this bit of info. in particular may be of interest, ........ "The plant called B. serra forma variegata is really a variegated form of B. pinguin".

I have it in an 18 inch pot. If you span the leaves its about 6 foot wide. I think i got it as a pup in a six inch pot about 4 years ago. Yea Lisa it rips you going in and rips you going out. I have been tore up several times. You got to love it. Its a terresterial growers thing . its like a kiss from your grand kids. You have to have one to understand.
