Ae.Thai Red 'sport'

Hello Everybody,

Last week I promise to show My Ae.Thai Red'Sport'. Thai Red is an unknown chantinii hybrid imported to Thailand more than 10 years ago without a name. Thai Broms collector didn't know about it's parents, guess chantinii is one of the parents. Our friend 'Stephania' decided to name it and registered it to FCBS a few year ago as "Thai Red"

Last 2 weeks when I walked aroung my area, surprisingly this sport was noticeable among greenish surrounding. The yellow was eye-catching. The mother withered away after complete flowering. I threw this plant away under bench and didn't pay any attention. The mother has 2 pups, normal green and variegated one. I cut the green out as Lisa advise and keep only variegated one. It's now 1/4 of mother. Fortunately, I get the sport from this castaway. A very big surprise !! ;-b

You see the variegated pattern is nice and on all leaves. Sorry , the picture is not so good. ;-)

This is the mother. It looks bad and doesn't show any sign of variegation.
