While we were in Chonburi Province, I brought Steve and Dr Larry
to brom nurseries and some private collections.

The first place was Virat's Garden.

Help! I'm suffering from a 'beauty extraordinaire' overdose....

I so hope a future World Brom Conference will be held in Thailand - what are its chances, and WHEN, Chanin?

Cheers,
Catatonic Kerry

Chanin, an absolutely sumptuous trip! We've missed your photo's over the last couple of months...but this three part tour was well worth the wait!!! Thanks, -Andrew.

Stunning!!! Kerry, I agree... A sensory overload.

Couldn't help but notice carcharodon Tiger just sitting there like he's one of the boys. He is treated like a V.I.P. here. Red carpet, the lot!!!

Thank you, Chanin, for this wonderful treat.

RE: Steve & Dr Larry 's Bromeliad trips in Thailand Part III

Chanin, thanks a lot for these three trips and your pictures are wonderful as allways!

Have you got an idea what plants in the two pictures, just above the variegated vriesea are?

Japie

RE: Steve & Dr Larry 's Bromeliad trips in Thailand Part III

Unbelievable! Thanks for all the pictures. I stopped by Michaels this past weekend and he was getting together a couple huge orders for collectors in Thailand.

Any idea on an ID for the prominent plant in picture 24?

 o
RE: Steve & Dr Larry 's Bromeliad trips in Thailand Part III

Thanks guys (^_^)"

Japie, that's Neo. pernambucana

For Mike, the #24 is Aech. phanerophlebia, a red form I think.

RE: Steve & Dr Larry 's Bromeliad trips in Thailand Part III

Chanin as always you caused much drolling here. Now I know what to put on my "to see" list when I visit you.
That Neo. pernambucana is an awesome plant and not as slow growing as I thought when I first bought it.

Wow! Wow! Wow! - What more can I say - I think we've all come to appreciate your fantastic photos, but this time you've really topped them all with your three series of tours in your beautiful country - Thanks so much for sharing the trips with us - All the best - Nev.

Thanks for the drool feast Stephania! Cheer us up in our wet wet winter here.
WBC in Thailand sounds perfect. There's only one big problem: No one will want to leave!!! It's a total hedonistic delight- paradisical resorts, sumptious food, amazing scenery & endless array of adventure activities all available at a very civilised price. Here's a few pics of our `basic' accomodation in Pattaya to discourage holiday makers! (LOL)

Hey John and Agatha - some great arty-farty shots there!

I'm firmly persuaded....please let us have a WBC in Thailand. My vote is in.

Cheers,
